Stay in warm and cosy accommodation and enjoy French village life. Take a seat on the terrace overlooking the village square and let the rhythm of the day gently pass you by. In July and August, the square really comes to life during the local market on Friday afternoons – right outside your door.

The surroundings invite you to explore. Wander past ancient dolmens and discover traces from a distant past. Visit the most beautiful villages in the region, such as Rocamadour, a short distance from Miers. There is also much to discover underground: the many caves in the area, with Gouffre de Padirac as an impressive highlight.

In the surrounding villages, you'll regularly find pleasant vide-greniers (car boot sales), where you can leisurely browse and search for little treasures. For cooling off and relaxation, the beautiful little beaches on the Dordogne river are within easy reach. You can also enjoy lovely canoe trips.
